Leadership Programme

The Year 7 Leadership Programme inspires confidence, teamwork and responsibility in every student.

Through an engaging mix of videos, hands-on challenges and lively discussions, pupils explore what it truly means to be a leader – in school and beyond.

Practical activities build communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills, while stories from real-life leaders encourage courage, creativity and integrity. Group discussions promote empathy, reflection and humour, helping pupils understand how they can make a positive difference.

Leadership opportunities extend beyond the classroom, with students contributing to school projects and community initiatives. By the end of the programme, each participant will have developed the confidence to lead with purpose, the curiosity to keep learning and the love of life that lies at the heart of the Cothill spirit.
