Jane Woodcock Nominated for a Tatler Lifetime Achievement Award

We are delighted to announce that Jane Woodcock has been nominated for the prestigious Tatler Schools Awards 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising her remarkable 32 years of dedicated service to the school.

For more than three decades, Jane has been at the heart of life at Cothill. Through her unwavering commitment, kindness and steadfast support, she has become an invaluable source of reassurance and guidance to generations of pupils, parents and colleagues.

The Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates members of the school community who have dedicated their lives to education and to the schools they serve. Jane is one of five nominees in this year’s category, alongside Emma Studd of Garden House School, Tom Banbury of Papplewick School, Fiona Walker of Roedean School and Caroline Jordan of Headington Rye Oxford.

Few people embody the spirit of Cothill quite like Jane. Over 32 years, she has been a constant presence through the changing seasons of school life, welcoming new families, supporting pupils and parents, and providing generations of Cothill children with the warmth and reassurance that make the school feel like home.

Jane’s nomination is a celebration not only of her extraordinary length of service, but of the lasting impact she has had on the Cothill community. Generations of pupils have grown up knowing Jane, and generations of parents have relied on her warmth, experience and unwavering support.

As Cothill continues to look to the future, Jane remains a vital link to the school’s past and an important part of its present, representing the sense of family, continuity and care at the very heart of the Cothill experience.
