Head’s Blog – Welcome Back For The Summer Term
As we look ahead to the Summer Term at Cothill, there is a real sense of energy and anticipation across the school.
Following the excitement of our recent “Best of the Best for Sport” success, I know the children are eager to carry that momentum into what promises to be a wonderfully full and varied term, particularly on the sports fields, where there is so much to look forward to.
Beyond sport, the calendar is rich with opportunity and community. We are excited to welcome families for Open Days, to come together for our concert at Dorchester Cathedral, and to support the children as they approach Common Entrance. There are also some much-loved highlights on the horizon: IAPS sailing, Grandparents’ Day, our ever-popular mums and sons/daughters tennis matches, Old Boys’ cricket, and the Battlefields trip, among many more.
It is this breadth of experience- academic, co-curricular and pastoral – that makes the Summer Term such a special one. I very much look forward to sharing it with the children, staff, and our wider Cothill community.
